Recipe of The Day:Tuna Casserole

I would like to start posting some of my family and I’s favorite recipes. Since I’m a busy Mom I like to make things that are quick and easy to make. They do however, also have to taste good. Today’s recipe will be one of JP’s favorite.

Tuna Casserole

Prep Time:30 Min.
Cook Time:30-35 Min.
Servings: Feeds about a family of 4

1 box Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (or whatever brand you would like to use)
1 Can of Cream of Mushroom
1 Can of Tuna in water
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese cubed
1 1/2 cup of shredded fiesta mix cheese for topping and inside dish
1 cup frozen peas
1 1/2 cups or eyeball it potato chips for topping (you can also use ritz crackers)
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup of milk
salt and pepper to taste

Cook macaroni as directed on box. Drain. Mix in cheese pack. Add butter and milk. Add in cubed cheese and shredded cheese. Mix good. Add in cream of mushroom and tuna. Mix some more. Add in peas. And in salt and pepper, and mix well. Take a small bag and place potato chips in bag. Crush chips to fine small pieces. Layer potato chips on top of casserole, and then put shredded cheese on top of that. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top. Enjoy!
