Recipe of The Day: Shrimp Fried Noodle

This is just a quick recipe. I have already featured Ham Fried Noodle, and also did a post about different ways to cook Ramen.

Here is something that is fast and delicious. You may have some of these ingredients in your fridge already.

1 Pack of Beef Flavored Ramen
2 Stalks Green Onion
1 sliver of white onion (or however much you like)
5-6 medium sized pre cooked frozen shrimp
1 half Carrot
1 stalk of celery
1/2 season packet
1/2 tsp Soy sauce
Sesame Seed oil or Canola Oil
black pepper to taste

Cut your carrot anyway you like. I used my Quick Slice Mandolin and did coin slices. Chop your celery. Heat a pan on medium high heat. Drizzle some Sesame Seed oil in the pan. Saute carrots and celery. Saute about 5-6 minutes and then set aside. Heat water in a small sauce pot. Add noodles to boiling water. Do not add season packet! Put that to the side. Add noodles and cook for about 2 minutes. The noodles should still be firm. Do not overcook. Bring saute pan back on medium high heat. Drizzle a little bit more oil. Add in noodles and onion. Saute for a few minutes. Then add in half of season packet, soy sauce, and pepper. Mix everything well, be sure you coat all of the ingredients. Constantly tossing, you don’t want the ingredients to stick or burn. Finally, add in your shrimp. Cook a few more minutes and your done! This is nice quick way to have something different.

Enjoy!
